A Fashion Affair, Fashion Cabaret 2012

I had an absolute BLAST participating in this year's Fashion Cabaret. I loved being able to tie into my Jamaican roots while incorporating fashion and experiencing a very cultural event. BIG BIG thanks go to the lovely Ms. Norma Martin, the producers, photographers, designers, and all my lovely model friends from Jamaica and Nigeria (I will be visiting soon loves :-) This show was an absolute SUCCESS and I look forward to working with this group again in the near future.

So You Think You Can Model Contest

So You Think You Can Model Contest was put on by Alexander Joseph on March 24, 2012. Female and Male models competed in 3 rounds for a chance at a cash prize and a 1 year modeling contract. The 3 rounds consisted of fashion, formal, and swimsuits with eliminations after each round.

This event alone has connected me with Smart Model Management Agency :-) (YAY!!!) and has also introduced me to many photographers, models, and other agencies that were in attendance.

I am looking forward to all the upcoming work that has resulted from this experience.

This event was such a success that in the fall, they are bringing it back with cash prices increasing up to $1000 and Ford Modeling Agency attending and judging.  

Although this is a competition, I will be posting information on how to cast for it. (It’s always good to help others have a shot at success and meet new people) :-)
